天堂和地狱这两个概念实际上是鼓励人们向善，行善上天堂，作恶下地狱。如果这两个概念都没有了，只靠人的意志是很难不去作恶的。

人活着不仅仅只是为了当下享乐。如果每个人都不为未来努力，只专注当下享乐，人类很快就会灭亡。
